The importance of listening to employees during a recession

It's even more important to listen to staff during an economc downturn. You need to gauge the feelings and attitudes to allow you to tailor messages to make sure they are appropriate.
Standard online survey tools may not be sufficient. You need staff survey tools which have high participation rate.

The Snap Poll tool passes email and ensures high participation. This helps to ensure you don’t just hear from the squeaky wheels or people with an agenda motivating them to participate. This way you get feedback from everyone despite their age, culture or workload.

It pops up on screen and has recurrence and targeting options like a desktop alert. So for important surveys you can set it up to recur indefinitely every say 45 mins. For less important, recur say 2 times and then not recur again and allow staff to opt in from there.
You can also set up ‘silent surveys’ that staff can opt into through a hyperlink perhaps in a screensaver or on the intranet.
